As I prepare this week for our return to the States, I’m realizing how much I’m going to miss Germany in just the 10 weeks I’m gone.  It’s our home these days.  Today we took our C1 language exam, and it reminded me of how much I’m not going to miss speaking German for 10 weeks.  Just kidding.  I like speaking German.  I just wish it were more correct and my vocabulary and understanding was bigger. 

We should have our results before we leave.  If we passed this exam, we will finally be finished with official exams and formal language study, freed up to to pursue and fully engage in German speaking opportunities, work and ministry.  More so than we have on a limited basis.

Some positive news: our support increased 5% because of the lower exchange rate these past few months.  That at least lowers the amount still to be raised.
